Very happy with new hunting coat. Built exactly the same as one i bought in 1993.

The quality met my expectations and then some. fits great and seems like it will last.cant wait to wear it while late season flintlock hunting here in Pennsylvania.

Originally began looking at items from other “Outdoor Clothing” brands (formerly made in USA), before my mother suggested Johnson. She had visited 40 years ago when she lived in New Hampshire, and still had blankets from then.

Reading other reviews, I called customer service to assist with sizing. My call was answered immediately by a very kind woman, based in America. She measured multiple shirts on hand to assist me, which I was very grateful for.

My order was shipped promptly, and I am very happy with what I received. The Loden Green is beautiful, and wears excellent.

This is the nicest piece of clothing I own.

I am very happy with these overalls. I wore them in 0-8F yesterday with some merino long johns for about 3.5 hours: 2 hours of trail grooming on a snowmobile and then 1.5 hours of nordic skiing. I was comfortable while fairly sedentary and also when I started to sweat. I would buy again.

We've lost

I bought it for my son. He lives in New Hampshire where it’s very cold during the winter. It was a Christmas gift, but he’s already opened it. And he loves it. He said it breathes, but at the same time keeps him warm, but not too hot.

I knew from reading other reviews that I wouldn't be disappointed, and still I was overwhelmed by the quality of this shirt. Heavy duty material and vibrant colors. At 5'10' & 160 lbs, Medium was a perfect fit. Plenty of room for layers underneath without being too big. This will not be the last shirt I buy from Johnson Woolen Mills.

Love this coat. Outstanding quality and craftsmanship, and great customer service too. I highly recommend reaching out if you have questions on the sizing as it was very helpful. The only negative about the coat is the hood. As others have mentioned the size of the hood is odd. It’s almost like the wool at the peak of the hood is pulled together too tightly, which makes it fit very tight. Also,it would be awesome if the collar had a button and strap to connect the two sides together when the collar is up. Regardless, this is an amazing coat that will last a lifetime!
