I waited till the 2 week deer season was over to review this coat. It was just perfect. It kept me the Warmest I have ever been while hunting. The pockets held Everything I needed. The hand warmer pockets worked great.

I purchased this hat 2 sizes larger than my size to wear over a thin windproof cap. It did What I needed it to do. My head stayed warm while out hunting deer in northeast PA.

Hands down the best manufacturer of wool clothing same quality as it was 30 years ago.

The sock is very soft and comfortable. It stays in place on the calf and keeps the feet warm. It's not too thick or bulky.

Fantastic quality overall. Normally wear 34-36 by 34 in jeans, bought 38x34. As expected waist was very big, had no problem taking in myself however. Length was also a bit long again with no problem re-hemming the leg. Fit very nicely on the legs and worked great with my tab suspenders with the factory button. I’ve been wearing Johnson Woolen Mills clothing for about 50 years. I’ve never been disappointed in a single purchase. I already have 2 heavier weight double caped jac-shirts. I bought this lighter weight version for use during cool fall and spring weather, when my heavier weight ones are a bit too warm. Nothing beats wool and Johnson’s are always a good value

Runs large. The length is good but he wears them over another pair of pants and still tucks his sweater in. The button is pretty tough to work for a kid. Keeps him warm though. Tough pants.

These shirts are amazing quality, they will last a very long time. And they’re pleasant to wear.

Placed my order at 12:59 PM on Sunday Nov.30, and received my whipcord pants in less than 40 hours on Tuesday, just in time for our 1st snow storm. I was sure that they would be too large in the waist, ordering 2 sizes up as suggested in your tailoring guide. But after I dressed up for the weather, and tucked in all my layers, the waist size was perfect, and I certainly won't split the backside on bending over picking up things, or when shoveling, etc. I could have gone a size short in leg length, but with my proper boots on, the extra length covers the boot laces, and keeps them from icing up. Better long, than too short! And by resting on the boots, the cuff ends don't drag on the ground. Just realized recently that I am not as tall as I was when 30 years old! UPS delivered them very quickly!
