Fits great and looks great. I got the herringbone and am very happy with it. My only suggestion to Vermont Woolen Mills is to bring back the brass zippers as a standard, or at least as an optoinfor their products. The zipper is a bit disappointing for such a finejacket. I have several Barbours with the brass zippers, and still have some old Vermont woolens with brass zippers, so I know it’s still possible. The quality of the newer Vermont woolens is even better than the older ones I still have. The jackets last a lifetime, so should the zipper.

Great! Material is wonderful

Used this to make a hoodie for my son, and he absolutely loves how warm and wind resistant it is.

I have bought one of these with the earflaps and one of these without the ear flaps.I have a head in excess of the prescribed size range. The material the ear flap is made does not stretch as well as the wool does, so I recommend ear flapless for my big-domed cohorts. Otherwise, great hat.
I have talked to JWM about a custom size hat, they said they can accommodate and it just takes a little extra coordination and measurement, but I would assume its going to cost a little more. I will provide another review if I feel I need to go that route.

Tough as nails and comfortable

I bought the "Koosies "cause I love Johnson Wollen Mills Products. Love the wool pants,, , the grey w/ red pinstripe, BUt I dont know if they keep the beers cold yet, but I will when Summer get here... cool idea, Keep the business going, You people working there, Your Lucky to have a nostalgic job that was started in 1842,,, Again , Love your products, Wish I had a closet full... Enjoy !
