I bought the field jacket at the end of the season and so didn't have enough time to test its warmth. That said, I pleased with my purchase. The single button at the cuff is a curious design choice: a plain cuff would have reduced manufacturing cost as the single button offers no function,like a bolt-on hood scoop on an automobile with no inlet to the engine bay.

Nice jacket constructed well. Would have like to have two buttons on the sleeve for proper adjustment. Well worth the money!

High quality as expected. May recommend a larger front zip pocket to fit newer sized cell phones.

It only has lining on the back, not in the front or the sleeves. Very uncomfortable to wear.

I've recently started working in the woods again in a more professional capacity. I needed a practical and professional look. I tried several brands, and Johnson Woolen Mills was miles ahead for quality and fit. They even customized my jacket for me from a hail-mary request I put in the order notes. I can't thank you enough for that! I wore JWM vests and pants all through forestry school back in the 1900s...I think my entire agency may find they're all being outfitted with new field Jac Shirts in the coming year...stay tuned.
