How to find your glove size

GLOVE SIZING FAQ

What if I’m in between sizes?

We recommend that you size down, as the leather will stretch and conform to your hand. If you are in between sizes and plan to get the Vermonter WITH a removable liner, we suggest sizing up. If your hand lands directly on a size and you plan to get the removable liner we suggest you get the corresponding size and break in the leather shell before adding the liner.

Should I size up or down in the mittens?

Well this depends on your worldview. If you want a snugger fitting experience then size down. If you want a warmer experience size up - more breathability inside the glove will trap more warm air from your body.

Will the gloves shrink or stretch as I wear them?

The gloves will stretch, but they will also conform, meaning as you break them in some places in the glove that may fit spacious will snug up as other parts of the glove pack out. Think about your knuckles pushing out of the back of the glove, thus pulling the fingers in tighter on your hand.

Do I need to size up when ordering the Uphill Skier and Tuttle Gloves?

No, purchase the size that corresponds to your hand on the sizing chart. We have spent millions of hours with NASA scientists calibrating our sizing strategy so the sizing chart determines your size for all gloves.

Do I need to size up when ordering liners to go with my gloves?

If you are in between sizes and plan to get the Vermonter WITH a removable liner, we suggest sizing up. If your hand lands directly on a size and you plan to get the removable liner we suggest you get the corresponding size and break in the leather shell before adding the liner.

Will the liners stretch my gloves out?

Yes the liner will inherently make the glove shell pack out more, but the not enough to make them feel too loose when wearing them without the liner.
