I bought my first flanel from Johnson about more than a year ago. It is extremely warm and of good quality. They are USA-made and not like those from the more expensive competition which is based in Seattle and now belongs to an Italian consortium. You know who. I even wore this shirt last December in Bangkok where the temperature rose to 32° C, and it was no problem at all. When I saw the price was reduced on some colours, I decided to go for it and buy more. A couple of weeks later I bought 4 more even though at the full price, but they are worth it.

I bought the green check version of this jacket in 1988. I just wore it last night! It has always kept me warm and is still one of my favorites hanging in the closet. When I bought it, the sleeves were not cuffed, so I had that done along the way. At about the halfway point, I had to have the jacket relined. Otherwise, it looks as good as new. I can’t say enough about Johnson Woolen Mills. I absolutely love this coat.

Love this wool beagle hat in blaze orange with ear flaps ! My favorite hunting hat in cold weather I enjoy wearing this classic on winter rabbit and pheasant hunts.

I got lucky and found Johnson Woolen Mills online. Filson is my go to for men’s clothing, but now that I have found JWM it’s my new favorite. This shirt looks and feels great! I am 5’10” 230 lbs and ordered an XL. I own both a XL and XXL. I put the XXL in the dryer and it did shrink a little bit. The XL I hang dry. The XL isn’t as big in abdominal area as I would like, but the length and everything else is good. The XXL chest and ab area fit great, but the sleeves are a little wide.

The fabric is stellar and beautiful

Quality and construction are excellent and the design from my perspective is better than other cheaper options. The only minor feedback I would give is the color is a little off from many other Blaze options. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is a good color and patterned hefty weight shirt. Wear it like a jacket for years!

XXL fits like a glove. I’ve only wore it out 1x and it kept the snow from going down the back of my neck. Excellent buy and great quality
