Ladies Wool Sizing Guide:
Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit
Johnson Woolen Mills recommends the use of a 6ft tape measure from a sewing supply store. Be sure when you measure to keep the tape snug (not tight) to your body.
Bust / Chest:
Place your tape as high under the arm pits as possible, relax your arms, relax chest and back muscles and measure the widest or largest point in the area of the chest and shoulder blades.
Waist:
Measure and determine the narrowest point of your waist.
Hip:
Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Inseam:
Inseams for all women’s wool pants are unfinished.
Special Sizing Notes:
1) Be sure to SIZE UP if you plan to wear additional layers underneath pants and to allow for tucked shirt layers.
2) For maximum warmth, loose fitting clothing is best.
